How to Prepare the Night Before Your Wedding Hair & Makeup

Your big day is almost here, yay! A few simple steps the day before mean your hair and skin are ready for me the moment I arrive, so we can start on your look with zero stress.

These steps are for everyone, not just the bride. All bridesmaids and guests who are getting their hair and makeup done need to follow them too, so please share this with them.

  1. Wash your hair the day before your wedding, not on the morning itself. Hair that is clean but not freshly washed is easier to style and holds a look better.
  2. Blow-dry it if you can. Go to bed with smooth, dry hair, so we start from a good base.

  1. Never sleep with wet hair. It can dry in all sorts of shapes, and we want a smooth start.
  2. Skip the serums. They can leave hair slippery, which makes it harder for a style to hold.
  3. Use little or no conditioner, and keep it to the ends only.
  1. Cleanse and moisturise your face about an hour before our slot time, so your skin is fresh and ready for makeup.

Most importantly, get a good night's sleep and enjoy every moment. I can't wait to make you look and feel your best!
